How does Magic Drop auto-filing work?

Type your note and tap Post. Dropboard reads your text and routes it to the best matching category based on keywords you’ve set. The more you use it and correct misfiled notes, the better it gets.

A note went to the wrong category — what do I do?

Tap Undo within 10 seconds of posting to move it to your Inbox. You can then reassign it manually. Dropboard learns from the correction.

What’s the difference between Free and Pro?

Free: 3 categories, 100 notes, full capture loop
Pro: Up to 7 categories, unlimited notes, full Markdown export — one-time purchase, no subscription

How do I upgrade to Pro?

Go to Settings → Upgrade to Pro inside the app. It’s a one-time purchase. No subscription, no renewals.

Is my data private?

Yes. All notes are stored on your device. Dropboard has no server, no account system, and never uploads your notes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Does Dropboard work offline?

Completely. All features work in airplane mode.

How do I export my notes?

Go to Settings → Export. Pro users can export all notes as Markdown. Free users can export notes one category at a time.

I lost a note — can I recover it?

If you posted and then tapped Undo, the note moves to your Inbox (not deleted). Check Inbox first. Dropboard does not permanently delete notes without your confirmation.

How do I delete a category?

Open Settings → Categories, swipe left on the category, and tap Delete. Notes in that category move to Inbox.
